i think there certainly would have been beauty, it was perfect, unblemished, "good."
but from balthasar's framework, it lacked the narrative depth that comes with the drama of redemption. the richness of the drama emerges from conflict, risk, and resolution, elements that enter the story with the fall and God's redemptive plan through Christ. Eden's meaning was a state of untested innocence, representing the prelude to the divine drama.
