Here in Croatia I never heard of anyone even in the really old houses having lead pipes for tap water, lead pipes were only used for draining waste water in to sewers.

In the united states the IRON water pipes had a SMALL amount of lead in them to prevent corrosion up until like 80 years ago.. The lead wasn't a problem as long as the PH of the water was kept at a normal (natural) level. But then instead of actually purifying the water they just started dumping chlorine compounds into it to make it "safe" and the lead started leeching out.
The ONLY places where this has happened is nigger areas that haven't replaced their water pipes in over 70 years, AND are too fucking stupid / cheap to use a water treatment method other than chlorine.
