I bought College Dropout the day it came out. I was actually a fan of his beats before he got famous. Him and a guy named Just Blaze did that sped up soul sample style. That was around 9/11 when Jay-Z's Blueprint dropped. That's when crate diggers learned him name. He didn't really get famous until after his first couple of albums, but got really famous after the Taylor Swift thing.
His last good album unfortunately. Donda had some good tracks but as an album it doesn't compare to his previous works.

College Dropout was a fantastic album. Graduation was pretty decent as well. I listen to all types of music though so I tend to be exposed to more culture than your average retard on Anon Babble who thinks they're dunking on someone by being ignorant to the culture of the society they are living.
