They are so soft skinned. I once tried to use them just for an audiophile sub, and first off, everything was some shit off Drop or Best Buy, nothing actually good. They don't set up systems well either and care more about RGB than treatment. You can just go to a real hifi store and find out what sound stage really is for free, but no, they would rather deny it and be upvoted by a retarded zeitgeist than actually learn anything. me: "The Audeze LCD-2 run off a SET tube amp will have a much larger sound stage than the Senn 6xx on a Schiit Modi/Magni stack" -5 Faggot redditor: "lol Soundstage is a made up term by snake oil salesmen. You have no power here meme" +12
If you don't follow, that's fine but it was obnoxious at best. I have had both those things and what I said is very true. Most of them, on the other hand, have to save up for a $200 purchase so they have never actually used a good headphone amp before and default to cheapo stuff. It might be good for the money but to deny what a $4k setup offers and call is snake oil is just ignorant and stupid.
I got banned within a month because somebody was asking if X amp would match X speakers, and I said I had Y amp with Y speakers, but the impedance match and efficiency were similar, and driver materials/design the tube type and architecture were similar. I said something along the lines, "Due to the similarity, I expect it will be a great match and sound good as long as you place them symmetrically and treat the first and second reflections, it might even have some holographic depth to them."
I got banned because I mentioned more expensive gear in someone else's post and it might make them feel bad. People with such thin skin shouldn't even be possible. These coddled fucks.
