When MTV was a music channel it was unironically amazing. Once it moved into "entertainment" it completely turned to brain rot

They never played rock music, they started reality tv shows glorifying mudsharks being teen moms for a third of the day and played rap music the other two thirds

I do agree with you. There were some great cartoons in the initial move to "entertainment" but by the time we got to Pimp My Ride the whole thing had turned to complete dogshit
