this will take some time its been three months and the tarrifs werent even in effect on day one but it will bring back manufacturing it may have other deleterious effects but there is no denying that if foreign goods become expensive domestically produced goods will suddenly be competitive again and that means increased domestic demand which means JOBS periodim not gonna get bogged down talking about specific trade deals or specific plants opening up, reinstating heavy tarrifs is a broad stroke and the consequences likewise will be broad and somewhat diffuse
