Because of Schengen Zone, for some migrants it is tempting to go to Russia/Belarus on tourist visa, and then try to enter via Lithuania, Poland or Latvia, because then they kinda can freely travel trough EU till Portugal.
Would not advise to use that route. There are frequent migrant beatings on belarusian side, when they come to border, and pretend that they do not understand english "go back", they get beaten by our border guards.
