We were taken to a room with all kinds of cool machines, including the microtome that freezes the rat kidney and slices it into thin slices we can upt under a microscope.
Of the 20 people, 18 were dicking around on their phones, chatting, and generally making a show of how bored they were.
Then there were two retards whoo looked like a kid in a candyshop. Those two retards, were me and my wife.
We were the only two people interested in science, the only two who were there because they wanted to be. The others were there because they wanted a well paying job and the prestiege of being a scientist.

I didn't fully understand how bad it was before becoming a manager and having to personally deal with the stream of sickness calls every day. Almost every female employee is way above the threshold for frequency of absence and many have unacceptable patterns (like every Saturday when they're hungover). Any kind of event like a storm basically none of them will come in. Any kind of illness beyond a simple cold and they're taking months off. Nothing ever happens to any of them.
