How many 200+ year old trees are you willing to sacrifice in the pursuit of trying to move a replacement back in? Exxon tried moving a 100 year old oak from a nearby forest to one of their campuses in texas and spared no expense to make it happen smoothly. A year later it had to be cut down because it had died back and rotted so substantially they became concerned it could lose branches or fall over and kill somebody.
