Why did they do this exactly
Why did they do this exactly
It’s a drug dealer throwing a little extra here and there to keep you hooked.
Probably the easiest way to increase your goodgoy score. Ask for credit limit increases and keep your spending habits the same, eventually your credit utilization percentage will drop to nearly nothing.

I've done this continuously, yearly, for 12 years. My card has a $42,000 limit because the algorithm has an upper bound by percentage that changes based on your credit score.
I've never carried a balance of more than $3000 on the card but they keep increasing the limit lol
It's pretty easy to game the system, idk why everyone is so scared of credit cards. Obviously usury is exceedingly jewish, but it's literally free money if you aren't retarded about it. People with low impulse control and zero self-discipline should be imprisoned anyways, for their own good.
Why isn't it possible to do the opposite, i.e. lower your credit limit?
This would mean less damage caused if someone steals your CC details.
literally free money
you have to pay it back
credit is a data collection scam, nothing more, nothing less
Not my problem
You go into debt.
Market crashes.
You file bankruptcy.
The bank collects everything you thought you would own.
It's a gimmick. They want you to max it out, default, go into collections, and go debt poor. So then they can ruin the very FICO score that THEY fucking gave you. I know the kike games very well, my mother worked for Citigroup.
Not my problem
quote from man garnished
This motherfucker spitting.
Aren't CLIs income based though? You must make a decent amount of money.
This is my dad's good goy score. He's deathly afraid of fucking his credit up and won't even use his credit at all for anything. Not even to find a place to live.
Minimum of 790 "unlocks" pretty much any benefit having good credit could give you. Just chasing a score seems retarded desu. I maintain mine just to get good interest rates.
I literally burnt a couple dozen files of collections records from like 20 years ago the other day. I almost forgot all about "Washington mutual" lol
Steadily roping you in to larger and larger purchases
Do you let yourself get roped in?
If you want to be poor and always strapped for cash, yes. If you want to keep your soul and inner peace, no.
Yeah idk why he fixates on it so much. Maybe he's part jew idk
Obviously the economy is doing great and they just have extra money to loan. It's falling out of their pockets, but it could be in yours.
Are incapable of taking responsibility for your own actions?
Just fucking take the money with interest from the Jews, OP. What's the worst that can happen?
They want you to keep paying them more and more.
In unscrupulous lenders they will increase your limits, then try to sell your debt off to someone else.
If you have a payment plan agreed for a % on your minimum payment, they can change that too, in an effort to get you into what they call "persistent debt" which they can then sell off.
Where you previously can pay a rate to keep you out of it, where they profit, here they can profit AND sell off your debt to fuck you over. It's great!
One of my cards did it, the minimum payment was 1% of balance and a standard fee, had been that way for years with a fairly low APR, they profited a decent amount.
Then they wanted to change it, a one of payment and X amount per month, to keep out of "persistent debt".
Could I set my monthly repayments to that? No. Could I adjust it back to the old rate to keep me out? No. I have to do it manually.
Lenders are scum. Kill all lenders.
Also why did I borrow? I'm a disabled man who didn't qualify for the RONA BOOST on my legacy benefits whose house was flooded twice. Shit sux. I try to pay it back, still hate the hebes.
Dummy. Credit companies worth their salt give fraud protection to their customers. All you gotta do is say it wasn't you who made the purchase.
When you use credit, its the banks money.
(((Banks))) don't mess around and will find out who is stealing from them
You’re a faggot
The vast majority of millennials I've met who think they're "adulting" with a good credit score do exactly what you're saying - neurotically chase every extra point because all they know is high score = good like it's a video game or a test result. Zero concept of diminishing returns or any intent to capitalize on their good score.
I got my credit score up to the high 700s while living with my parents and banking cash. Then bought a house and new car and my score dropped to like 710 and my friends flipped out
brooooo you just destroyed your credit bro you're fucking retarded bro.
I have a 30% DTI ratio, a solid house and a new car. What the fuck am I going to use credit for in the next few years it takes to recover? Morons obsess a high credit score for the sake of having it and never use it.
I think they are now, none of my other cards allow these kinds of limits, just the one. I think my account is stuck on an older version of the algorithm and since there isn't a human approving it manually and I haven't put a huge balance on it, it hasn't triggered any alerts on the bank's side. I only make like 115k, nobody should have a card with this kind of limit, except maybe bezos.
I missed this one, good job to the person who quoted it after.
What the fuck are you on about. You're in the UK same as me, so they will.
You absolutely CAN get them to reduce your credit limit. Their entire fucking apps and payment systems and advice are packed to the gills with bullshit contact us if you're having trouble.
A lender WILL decrease your limit for you if they can, so long as you pay them back. They might be unhappy about keeping you out of "persistent debt" where they can profit but 1% & fees per month of a £500 debt is better than holding onto a £2000 debt for long enough that it becomes profitable. They want to keep you in that sweet spot, brother. Where you feel safe spending the money that isn't used for purchase interest, but they have to comply and reduce it if you want.
fuck it, I can't find the image I need so I'll shamelessly Anon Babble it here.
Where's that image of maybe Sam Hyde or another comedian talking about when you owe a credit card company $20,000 dollars worth of debt?
It's not a you problem, it's their problem. I've seen it paraphrased over the years.
only 115k
what are interestless payment plans
what is Cashback
you're retarded if you aren't getting a net positive from your cards
They absolutely can and will lower your credit line if you carry a balance.
ahhhh jeez dude 300 dollas? I got like maybe $40 right now cuz of the pills!
Im sure each company has their own calculations and systems for it. When I got my first credit card 8 years ago (Chase SWA Premier) it started at $5,000 and was at $60,000 limit within 2 years from automatic credit increases. My case was unusual though because I had a travel job and all my expenses were reimbursed so I was putting like $8k on the card and paying it off entirely each month.
I thought only Russian banks is doing so lol
I have 200k rubles income per month and spend like 70k.
Using credit card occasionally to confirm limit and to avoid making transfers from other banks
What's crazy is that it doesn't even take years to get it back up 100 points, you can do it in less than a year easily. There's so many ways to game the credit system, it's insane to me how scared some people are of it.
This tbĥ
i live in commiefornia (for now)
Thanks, that's the clip, wasn't showing for me in search.
I also got this, which was tied in.
For the UK anon, so long as they don't pan it to persistent debt, you're good. Even then persistent debt goes to collectors and that's very much a them problem when it comes to repo.
but it's literally free money
it's not free money, idiot. you still have to repay it with interest. it's only free if you can figure out how to take your credit line invest it in something that will return you monthly credit payment + something for yourself. problem is nothing like that exists, stupid
Do not make the mistake of becoming a credit card user.
It is far too easy to end up irresponsible and end up submerged in debt.
Stick to cash unless you have literally no other choice and it's a life-or-death situation!
What's crazy is that it doesn't even take years to get it back up 100 points, you can do it in less than a year easily.
I have a missed payment on my gas account from 2021, when I switched providers and they fucked it. I paid them off in full for my electricity but they fucked up the direct debit and the system shows I missed a payment.
What's funny is it shows as a black mark still, 4 years later. I've been told it will degrade 5 years later or I can contact the credit rating agencies and explain it.
It wasn't even me, or even my bank, they just transferred my account wrong lel.
I make good payments, above the minimum, but that single missed payment stains me. What gatekeeps this shit is spending like 4 or 5 hours on the phone to explain what the fuck happened to remove black marks. That can happen regardless of income.
What's hard for people is visualising debt, seeing snowballs etc.
Putting aside money, trying to withhold and budget to pay it off so EAR/APR/repayments don't eat away at you.
That's how the hebes win, it's economic rent.
it's not free money
actually, it is free money and here's how
but it's still not free money because free money doesn't exist even though I just told you how to into free money
Mine is up to 50k and I only ever use mine for gas and food so It rarely goes over 300.
What should I do with it
+ something for yourself
nothing like that exists
What advanced level of trolling is this?
Spend $10,000 on credit card
End of month pay back $10,000
get 3% cash back, or whatever reward your card gives.
Free $300
As long as you treat your card like a charge card, aka only spend money you can afford to pay back, and money you would have spent in cash anyways, then yes it is free money.
People telling you to "use a credit card" are NOT telling you to "amass debt." Your credit limit is just a revolving cash access you have that you are SUPPOSED to pay off at the end of each month.
All it takes is a little bit of self control. Sad that this board can't see that.
this is retarded and you know it, whatstopping me from opening my own llc with a cash terminal that's charging me nothing to process payment then paying myself 100k a month thru a cashback credit card and collect 3k from the bank?
are you retarded?
they make money from interest, the more you owe the more than make.
they offer you the highest amount they think you will not default on.
shut it down, anon
Be dumbass me
Everytime I walked in the teller would ask me if I wanted an increase.
Thought getting increased credit limit was good.
Must show I have a good credit rating!
"Sure!"
Up to 12k credit now from original limit of just $200
Later on apply for small personal loan ( same bank )
( not dumb enough to put it on my CC, lol )
Loan declined.
"Your CC limit is treated as a liability"
"But I never go use it for anything than groceries and fuel, and always pay it back before before due date, you can see that over the past 5 years"
"Doesn't matter, as far as we are concerned its a liability"
Oh! Then please reduce my CC limit to $200.
Loan approved.
a cash terminal that's charging me nothing to process payment
Doesn't exist. The retailer pays* a transaction fee that is automatically taken by the bank in the process of transaction, otherwise the bank just won't process it. The transaction fee is the cost of doing business for giving customers easier access to your products.
*Yes yes I know the retailer just adds the transaction fee onto the bill the customer pays. It's a cost of doing business that you will pay as a customer regardless, unless the retailer gives some sort of cheaper price for cash purchase. Then you have to decide if the cash incentive is better than your card reward.
the do it hoping you're a fucking spastic, which invariably most people are. i've accepted every credit increase but i've never not settled my account at the end of the month, im not retarded. But i like to know i have an obscene level of credit i can spend if shit hits the fan and i have no intention of repaying it.
Yep they're great. I use mine for literally all purchases, like a proxy for my bank basically. Just set it to autopay in full and that's it, free money and I'm not risking my banking details when buying things. Capitol One even lets you make virtual cards for each store so you can just delete the virtual card if something bad happens
A trick to get you to spend more. My wife and I have been with the same bank for a decade, but mine is about $10k higher because I used it for extra cash when I was between jobs, and she always paid hers off immediately. It's just a (((trick))) since they know you're more likely to spend more
so let the retailer eat the cost of me moving my own 100k to myself via cashback credit card and collect cashback
As a European, I've never understood why people buy common goods with credit cards instead of debit cards. Why would you want to go to debt to afford groceries or gasoline? What is even a credit score??
Inflation.
Because you're White and you pay your bills on time.
The federal reserve no longer has reserve requirements for lending (March 2020). They can loan you infinite money without any having a single dollar in reserve. They can increase your limits and charge you interest on their made up money without taking any risk, this also protects them against the /our/ only weapon against the - a bank run. Just normal jewish things
Retailers get charged a fee per transaction. Those transaction fees are worked into the price of every product. Then people like you think you are "winning" because you get 2% cash back on a product that is 3% more expensive to pay for the credit card processing fees. While it's true you make out better personally, by paying with credit card you maintain justification for retailers to keep prices higher to cover processing fees. Jews love making you sell out the whole to benefit yourself as that is the basis of maintaining their power.
The kikes are getting you (sort of). You see if you got for a loan suddenly you have 40K of unsecured debt. It doesn't matter you don't use the whole limit you need to lower your limit or outright terminate the card.
Get fucked.
Then people like you think you are "winning"
Depends on your spend. For example I have this
If you buy an eligible item on your card in Australia and within 12 months the item is available at a lower price at the same retailer or any other Australian retailer, we'll pay the price difference back on your card. We'll pay a maximum of $5,000 in any 12 month period
Considering you pay the 3% whether you use cash or card you may as well get fucked less. The game is kiked to the tits.
