I thought to myself "selling weapons capable of mass destruction surely is bad and didn't us Germans devote ourselves to peace?" Apparently never again didn't include not selling weapons to Israel and our politicians said we were honourbound to sell to Israel because of the holocaust.

I thought to myself if they start calling people advocating for not selling weapons and promoting peace "Nazi" the word will quickly lose its meaning and that's not good. It took maybe another 4-5 years before I was called a Nazi for saying Negerkuss.
